David has had a somewhat eclectic background, starting his dental career in Canberra way back in the early eighties, before spending a few exciting years as a reporter and presenter with ABC radio.

David joined Dr David Young & Associates in August 2011, with more than 30 years experience in private dental practice in northern Sydney. He takes pride in the quality of all his clinical work and regularly attends professional development courses to keep up-to-date with the rapidly-changing world of modern dentistry. His special interest is in the field of orthodontics, for both adults and children.

Outside of dentistry, David is a keen cyclist and Tae Kwon Do black belt. He also enjoys snow skiing and learning (struggling!) to play the bass guitar. His favourite pastime though is just relaxing at home with his wife and two lovely teenage daughters.
